Original Antique Burmese Lacquered Betel Box

Crafted in the late 19th Century. A round stacking betel box is decorated with red, green, yellow and black lacquer. Made from woven bamboo substrate that has been lacquered. This boxes were used to store leaves, nuts and seasonings.
